University economics teaching isn’t an education: it’s a £9,000 lobotomy | Aditya Chakrabortty | Opinion | The Guardian
Posted: 2014/05/10 by Punkonomics (@dearbalak) in Links/Articles/VideoThis is very true and the reason my colleagues and I at the dept of Economics at Rollins College have been working hard for 10 years to teach from multiple ideological perspectives. We are among a handful of scools doing this and with few exceptions, thus is NOT a popular move among the powers that be. Not surprisingly since traditional econ is little more than a clerical justification for thr existing system and thise in positions of power like it that way.
