Most of the American people are decent people whether they are Reps Dems or independent. It is the system and the plutocrats who rule it that are corrupt bastards. John Lock explained it well in the 1700s: “Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely” Adam Smith also knew that the market system (aka capitalism) REQUIRES a reasonably fair distribution of wealth to function & survive. What we have now is a complete sham.
